Weather Situation

A high [1030 hPa] centred over the western Tasman Sea extends a ridge of high pressure over the northern Queensland waters. The ridge will persist through the week as the high slowly drifts eastwards across into the Tasman Sea, easing slightly over the weekend as a trough moves across the south of the state.
