Weather Situation

A high [1025 hPa] over central Australia extends a ridge of high pressure and south to southwesterly wind flow over South Queensland Waters. The ridge will persist for several days as the high moves slowly east over central and eastern Australia. Moderate to fresh west to southwesterly winds over the South Queensland waters south of Sandy Cape will shift south to southeasterly on Monday, with another westerly wind change expected on Wednesday.
