A high pressure system moving east over the Tasman Sea will allow a trough to move across South Australia tonight and on Thursday. A cold front will follow over the south on Friday maintaining a broad westerly flow over agricultural areas. A ridge is expected to persist over South Australia at the weekend as the high drifts southeast to be over Tasmania by Sunday night.
