Weather Situation
A cold front lies over far eastern coastal waters, with a vigorous west to southwesterly airstream behind it. Winds will gradually ease on Wednesday as the next high pressure system approaches from the west, with the high extending a ridge across Bass Strait on Thursday and Friday as the high moves to the southwest of Tasmania. The ridge persists over coastal waters on Saturday.
